About
Who I Am: You’ll just have to create some sort of composite based on my inane scribblings.
Where I Live: New York City, but I grew up in Maryland (I love Maryland).
Television Shows I Love or Appreciate: It’s a long list. My absolutely favorite tv show ever is The X-Files. Others include: The Simpsons, Arrested Development, Scrubs, The Office (UK and US), Futurama, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Xena: Warrior Princess, Veronica Mars, Lost, Mystery Science Theatre 3000. I watch Saturday Night Live regularly but I wouldn’t call it a favorite.
Favorite Author: Virginia Woolf.
Favorite Films: Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Princess Bride, The Music Man, Singin’ in the Rain, Clueless, Pride and Prejudice (which is technically a BBC miniseries, but fits well here), Pretty in Pink, The House of Yes, Out of Sight, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, and others that I’m sure I’ll be adding as I remember them.
Favorite Month: I couldn’t tell ya. Each has their charms.
Favorite Sandwiches: A sandwich consisting purely of pepperoni, pickles, and black olives on a roll. A ‘Mediterranean’ – black olives, basil, lemon, seasonings, and cream cheese.
Favorite Musicians: Elliott Smith, The White Stripes, Fiona Apple, and a slew of other fascinating people.
Special Skills: Umm… I can sew. I know a bit of Photoshop and html coding. I spend my free time writing useless information about me on a blog. My cool exterior.
Social Security #: How do you even know I’m a U.S. citizen? Perhaps I’m Malaysian… Or an expatriot living in Alexandria.
Celebrities I Adore: Ioan Gruffudd is at the top of the list. I wish The Fantastic Four hadn’t sucked as much as it did. It’s kind of astonishing they’re making a sequel. Well, not astonishing, tacky and unfortunate. Parker Posey is another. Zooey Deschanel is an emerging favorite.
If I Could Meet Anyone, It Would Be: Darin Morgan, writer of such stellar X-Files episode as Humbug, Jose Chung’s From Outer Space, and Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose.

My apologies for the double post on your blog today. I’m not sure if you can edit the
first one or remove it from your end, but I can’t from mine. Your site’s
comments box didn’t initially show me all I was writing, so I tried to fix it
and it backfired on me. I also want to apologize for the profanity in my post.
It’s just that there’s no less offensive way to describe Eli Roth’s work. I was
encouraged after googling that there was someone else who was thinking similarly
about him. Sorry and thanks for the opinion.

Gingermiss, would you write to be a contributor on my (our) blog? Feminism and entertainment, books, etc. Different voices. Send me an email if you are interested.
